The Old Year is staggering out the back door, and the New is clamouring to get in!

Change is inevitable - part of life and growth - so let's accept it eagerly and run with it.

Our Pastor Deon is leaving! We are sad to lose him as our pastor and our friend and we will miss him enormously. We wish him good health, much happiness and a very successful ministry in Korea. They are gaining a wonderful man and a gifted Children's Ministries leader.Go with God's blessing and our's, too, Deon.

And so we are on the lookout for a replacement. Our church family has an opening for someone new who will take over the reigns of leadership, accept and love us, and guide us into the year ahead. Please make this a prayer priority! The Lord knows just who we need. Let's ask Him to guide us in our choice - and to impress the new candidate that this is the right place for him to work.Together, (the Lord and him and us) we will make a strong team to face the challenges the future holds for the church.

  What an  exciting new beginning to the New Year! I pray for good health, peace and safety, and much energy for each of you as we work in this corner of the world for our Lord in 2010.
